these two stories popped up in my RSS feed almost simultaneously.

Man dies in semitrailer, scooter crash near U Tuesday
from kansas:
Traffic on 23rd and Iowa Streets were diverted around 4:30 p.m. today after a man riding a red motorcycle was struck and killed by a semi trailer.
CREEEEPY.
I expect to see more stories like this as gas prices rise and morons think that a scooter will be adequate for transportation.
